Dramatic Eye Makeup

Special evening? Want your eyes to make a statement?

Ok, so you have a special evening planned. Go for a dramatic eye makeup look! You'll really make an entrance at the Christmas party.
HOT TOPICS!

First of all, go with a shadow to suit your eye color. Don't know which? I talk about your choices on this page, half way down the page.

Second, make sure your face is groomed with foundation and blush/bronzer. These look require a "complete face". But don't worry, no need to pile on the foundation but just make sure you even out your skin and wear lipstick/lipgloss.

Is every age suitable for a dramatic eye look?

Absolutely YES but if you are over 35 like me, make sure you conceal and prime your dark circles and/or wrinkles (if you have any) as these looks will call attention to them.

I use a good moisturiser (to hydrate), then I prime (to fill in the fine lines), then I conceal (to hide dark circles) and finally I set everything with translucent powder. The trick is in the primer which sinks into the fine lines instead of the concealer, which rests on top.
