It's topic close to my heart. See, I have a chubby face. Ok, I'm chubby all over but that's another story :-) I'm not promising miracles but cleverly applied makeup can really give definition to your face and create the illusion of slimmer nose, cheeks and chin. Sound good? Ok, let's do it. FACE SHAPE MAKEUP - STEP BY STEP 1. Define Your Cheekbones Take a little bronzer with a large powder brush, tap of any excess. Start from your temples, move down towards your cheeks and then down your jawline. The movement should form an inward letter 3. Don't press the brush into your skin too hard, gently sweep your face. Create the number 3 figure approximately three times, until you start to see a darker shadow, no harsh dark lines. Again, it's important to start with little product. You can always apply more if needed. Enter our FREE contest to win a Coastal Scents Eyeshadow palette! 2. Hide Your Double Chin Now apply bronzer along your whole jawline, from ear to ear. Not too much, make sure you tap the excess off your brush. Blend down towards your neck, don't go upwards towards your face. Stop when you see a the hint of a darker shadow along your jawline. This will create a contrast between the color of your face and anything below the jawline. Remember, it must be barely noticeable. No harsh streaks of dark colors please! Tip: use a clean makeup brush as any residual makeup can result in darker application. 3. Slim Down Your Nose You can also slim down your nose, make it appear straighter and narrower. With a smaller makeup brush, apply a little bronzer down each side of your nose, until you see a darker shadow. If you want to reduce the tip of your nose, apply some bronzer just above your nostrils, not too much. Now take a translucent powder and apply down the top of your nose, in a straight line. The brighter top line along with the darker sides will make your nose look more defined. And that's it. These three steps are the basics of face shape makeup!
