Let me start off by saying:

Makeup is NOT for super-models. It was invented for women like you and me. We are every day, busy, beautiful women with ordinary jobs and very full schedules.

We turn to makeup, not to camouflage who we are, but to BRING OUT who we are.

I am passionate about bringing makeup to "real" women and making them feel better about themselves.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to change the beauty industry and make the big brand companies cater to ordinary you-and-me-women of all ages. Because right now, they are speaking a very foreign language, don't you think?

A few companies have started to shift directions, like Bobbi Brown, but there is still a lot to be done.

Now a little about me. I am 39 years old, have a regular nine to five job and am attending part-time beauty/makeup school. Not a professional makeup artist yet but will be very soon!

So how did I become so knowledgeable about makeup?

Well, it happened in the last decade of my life actually. Before that, I never wore makeup. I didn't need to (I'm not bragging!).

I started using makeup on a regular basis when I noticed a few issues with my skin, ie, redness, blemishes, uneven skin tone, sun spots etc.

This website is the result of many years of experience wearing, buying, trying makeup on myself, family and friends, who now turn to me for cosmetics advice.

So, let me guide you through the meanders of the makeup world.
